Lukado Consult was founded in 2000 on a simple premise: that decisions about foundations, water, and the environment should be made on measured data, not guesswork. What began as a geophysics-led practice has grown into a full-spectrum consultancy covering geotechnical investigation, geoscience interpretation, drilling and water systems, and environmental compliance.
We still operate the way we started: every engagement personally reviewed by senior staff, every dataset traceable to a calibrated instrument and a named technician, and every report written so the client's engineers can act on it without translation.

Lukado Consult founded
Prof. Lukumon Adeoti establishes the firm in Akoka, Lagos, offering geophysical, geological, and soil testing services.
Early groundwater & survey work
Built a track record in pre-drilling geophysical surveys for groundwater development across Lagos, Ogun, and Osun states.
Major infrastructure engagements
Delivered geotechnical surveys for the Olokola Deep Sea Port and the old NEPA Power Station, Ijora, including a UNIDO/UN project.
Drilling & piling capability expands
Took on borehole construction, foundation piling, and pile-load testing for industrial and residential clients nationwide.
Horizontal directional drilling division
Delivered multi-kilometre HDD fibre-optic and utility crossings in Lagos and the Bauchi–Gombe corridor.
Mineral exploration & continued growth
Expanded into lithium mineralization mapping in Kwara and Oyo states, alongside continued geotechnical and drilling contracts nationwide.

Principal Consultant
Prof. Adeoti founded Lukado Consult in 2000 and leads the firm's technical direction across geophysical, geological, soil test, piling, drilling, and environmental work. He personally reviews technical reports and provides oversight on the firm's largest infrastructure, oil & gas, and mineral exploration engagements.
